Hello, I’m Maggie — the owner and sole stylist at Salon Maggie G. With 40 years of experience and 28 years in my Tweed Heads|Coolangatta salon, I’m passionate about creating beautiful hair and crafting transformative experiences that help my guests feel confident, refreshed, and uplifted.

My approach is centred around connection, understanding, and thoughtful artistry. I take the time to listen — to your vision, your lifestyle, and how you want your hair to make you feel. This personalised approach allows me to design looks that are flattering, practical, and authentically you.

I specialise in handcrafted colouring, using thoughtful colour placement to add or soften shapes and enhance the natural beauty of your head, face, and body silhouette, along with a multitude of fashion forward personalised colouring, blonding, grey blending, precision cutting, and luxury Kérastase rituals designed to support both scalp health and hair integrity. My passion for hairdressing keeps me continually learning and refining my skills, ensuring the techniques I use remain modern, thoughtful, and grounded in decades of experience.

Creating beautiful results is important — but also how you feel during the process. I’ve designed the salon to be a calming, boutique space where guests can relax, enjoy the moment, and feel truly cared for from the moment they arrive.
