The hairdresser understands the various types of hair and texture and its ability to hold different styles, so the addition of an applicable mousse helps to create volume in the hair along with the use of other holding and supporting products and various styling techniques.
Of course, the use of dry shampoo, the GHD and Curling Irons are excellent tools but generally they will produce a softer and more natural looking outcome.
